Inner Child

Suddenly
the voice inside her
roared
I am NOT a child.
I do NOT need to be cared for.

I am the force of the Wind,
I am the power of the Ocean,
I am the strength of the Earth,
I am as vast as the Sky,

I am in you.

I am YOUR gift

Friday Note:
What if your inner child,
was no fragile thing needing nurturing, care,
nor even love.

What if what was inside of you
was, older than the mountains, air or sea?

Something
that has always been with you
that picked you up when you were down
that started your heart when it skipped that beat,

What if this force within you,
hasn’t been waiting for your care
It’s been waiting for
You
to be courageous enough
to fully integrate itself
into you
And finally realize your full potential

Play with your inner child this weekend.

I have been writing small poems/stories, and sharing these with artists to co-create visuals. I don’t drive the process. I share only the poem (no notes or comments) and let the story call to their muse. The results become something new. For me this has been delightful. The poem above and art, is the third public share.

Anastasia can be found on fiver https://lnkd.in/eMTcsDm4 I am sure you find her muse, as amusing as I do!
