KNOW


Effective enterprise innovation requires:
a shared vision,
a supportive environment
the ability to say YES
and more importantly to say NO

But I think, it is more like Know than NO,
Know what you are doing,
know the risks,
know the returns,
know what you are trying to learn,
know the outcome if you fail
know what is at stake,
know the risk of not doing.
if you 'know' it should be obvious if it should be yes or no..

(if you articulate the above well, it becomes the framework of the story/argument/data that allows you to turn an upper executive's 'no' into a 'yes’)
