Focus on what
You are running towards.
When considering, I like to think about a company's Vector, Velocity and Culture:
Vector- direction (path to success)
Velocity - speed (ability to succeed)
Culture - ethos (their values and how they realize em)
- Are they going in the direction you want to go?
- What are their causes?
- Does the culture align with your values?
- Who are the people you get to work with?
- What are the problems you are going to solve?
- What are you going to learn?
- Do they work in a way that you admire?
- How will you be able to teach and mentor?
- Is there a path for their and your success (is success possible)
- What do I need to do to be successful?
- Do I have a future?
- What is my relationship with my Direct Management?
- Is this a fair and equitable place?
